Helping you heal beyond survival
Meet Your Therapist
My name is Tyra Sequeira I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Masters graduate from University of Toronto, and the founder of Lifehaven Psychotherapy. My work is grounded in over 5 years of supporting Indigenous and Black children, families and survivors navigating child welfare and justice systems. I have witnessed how trauma, relational wounds, and the systems we move through can disconnect us from our own voice, identity and sense of possibility. I created this space to hold the complexities of life, to help people access their inner wisdom, and to promote empowered healing.
I provide therapy for teenagers and adults specializing in complex trauma. I am rooted in social justice and strive to support those who carry the weight of institutional and intergenerational harm. I am committed to providing culturally responsive therapy for Black Indigenous and People of Colour BIPOC. My approach is trauma informed, culturally responsive, person-centred and integrative.
At Lifehaven Therapy we can learn to understand what has shaped you and intentionally move towards what makes you feel most alive.
